Welcome to our group!
We are a group of students from Saarland University who enjoy exploring the world of electronics, signal processing, and radio frequency technology. Our group brings together enthusiasts who love to tinker, learn, and connect with fellow amateur radio hobbyists from all around the globe.
Amateur radio is a worldwide community and service that allows individuals to experiment with and communicate over radio frequencies specifically allocated for them for non-commercial use. It’s a hobby that connects people of diverse educational and cultural backgrounds through curiosity and shared passion for communication technology.
We believe amateur radio is the perfect hobby for a university environment. It bridges theory and practice, complements academic research and study, and fosters connections with people worldwide who share their experiences and knowledge.
Never heard of amateur radio before? Don't worry!
Just drop by one of our meetings and discover what this fascinating hobby has to offer.
See you soon!
